REMINDER: NRI Viking Officer Nominations for the 2010-2011 Season

TO ALL IN THE NRI COMMUNITY:

Nominations of the Officers for the NRI Viking Board of Directors for annual election are upon us. The NRI Bylaws require the following actions.

1. A nominating committee was selected at the January NRI Board meeting. The primary function of this committee is to solicit nominations from the general membership for the positions of President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer.
2. The committee will select a secretary to maintain the minutes of the Nomination Committee. This committee will present a ballot of Officers at the April NRI Board meeting. Counter nominations will also be accepted at the April Board Meeting. The April NRI Board meeting is scheduled for April 21,2010. Following the April Board meeting no further nominations will be accepted and written Ballots will be printed and utilized at the annual election in May. Candidates on the Official ballot may be called upon at the April meeting to state their qualifications. Winners of the election will assume the duties of their office immediately.
